Terms of Use

Welcome to YuanPan (the “App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). Please read these Terms and our Privacy Policy carefully before use. By registering, signing in, or using the App, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

1. Services

YuanPan is a charting and calendar tools app. We mainly provide:

• BaZi charts and compatibility chart tools;
• Traditional calendar lookup;
• Saving chart / casting records (sign-in required);
• Submitting feedback;
• App update checks;
• Advertising (via Google AdMob and similar providers, as implemented in the client);
• Other features we may add from time to time.

Content in the App is for learning, research, and cultural entertainment reference only, and does not constitute professional advice. Do not rely on fortune-telling or similar content as the sole basis for medical, legal, investment, or other important decisions.

2. Accounts

1. You may register and sign in with username/password, Sign in with Apple, or Google Sign-In (where available). When registering with username/password, you must provide a real, valid email address that can receive mail, used for account security and password recovery.
2. You must provide true, accurate, and complete information and keep your credentials secure. Losses caused by your own credential disclosure are your responsibility.
3. Unless required by law or we agree otherwise in writing, each person may register and use only one account.
4. You may not transfer, lend, rent, or otherwise allow others to use your account.
5. You may delete your account in the App. After deletion, we will delete or anonymize your account and related data as described in the Privacy Policy.

3. Acceptable Use

When using the App, you must not:

• Violate laws, public order, good morals, or these Terms;
• Post illegal, false, infringing, harassing, abusive, pornographic, violent, or other improper content;
• Reverse engineer, crack, scrape, bulk crawl, or otherwise interfere with the service;
• Use the App for fraud, abuse, spam, or similar activities;
• Impersonate others when registering or using an account;
• Otherwise harm the App, other users, or third parties’ lawful rights.

If you violate the above, we may warn you, limit features, suspend or terminate service, and reserve all legal rights.

4. Intellectual Property

Software, UI design, marks, layout, and content we lawfully own remain our or the right holders’ property. Unauthorized commercial copying, distribution, or republication is prohibited.

5. Changes, Interruption, and Termination

1. We may adjust, upgrade, or discontinue features, UI, or services as our business needs change.
2. Service may be interrupted or delayed due to maintenance, network issues, or force majeure. We will try to restore service but are not liable beyond what law requires.
3. If you seriously breach these Terms, we may stop providing services to you.

6. Disclaimers

1. The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee absolute timeliness, security, or accuracy.
2. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for service issues caused by network conditions, device failures, or third-party services (such as SMS, email delivery, Apple / Google Sign-In, or advertising).
3. Chart results are for reference only; we are not responsible for decisions you make based on the App.
4. The App may show third-party ads. Ad content is provided by advertisers or ad platforms. We do not guarantee its truthfulness or legality. Any dealings or disputes between you and an advertiser are solely between you and that advertiser.

7. Personal Information

We take privacy seriously. For how we collect, use, and share personal information (including advertising identifiers such as IDFA / GAID and Google AdMob), and for your rights, see the Privacy Policy.

8. Minors

If you are under 18, please read these Terms and use the App under a guardian’s guidance. Guardians should supervise minors’ online and spending behavior.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will notify you via in-app notice, website posting, or other reasonable means. Continued use means you accept the revised Terms; if you disagree, stop using the App and delete your account.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. Disputes should first be resolved amicably; if not, either party may bring suit in a court with jurisdiction where the App operator is located.
